Terms of Use (Waitlist Site)

1. Who we are

Homefront Stories™ (homefrontstories.com, the “site”) is a product of Thought2Creations LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company (“we,” “us”).

By using the site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2. Preview and waitlist only

The site is a preview of a product we’re still building, with a waitlist for launch updates. Joining the waitlist:

  • isn’t a purchase or an order;
  • doesn’t create an account; and
  • doesn’t require you to buy anything, or require us to launch, on any date or at all.

Anything on the site about future features, prices, or dates is a plan, not a promise, and it may change.

3. Adults only

The site is for adults 18 and older, such as parents and guardians. Don’t use it if you’re under 18. Please don’t submit any information about a child, such as a name, age, photo, or school. If we receive it, we’ll delete it.

4. Founding Families offer

The Founding Families offer is governed by its own terms, which are part of these Terms: Founding Families terms. If those terms conflict with these Terms on the offer itself, the offer terms control.

5. Emails and unsubscribing

When you join the waitlist, you agree that we may email you Homefront Stories launch updates and your Founding Families offer. Every email will include an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by writing to contact@thought2creations.com. We’ll honor your request promptly, within 10 business days at most. We won’t sell or rent your email address.

6. Acceptable use

Please don’t:

  • submit someone else’s email address without their permission, or any false information;
  • submit information about a child;
  • use bots, scripts, or automated tools to join the waitlist or scrape the site;
  • try to break, overload, probe, or get around the security of the site; or
  • use the site for anything unlawful, harmful, or misleading, including suggesting that you speak for us.

We may remove any waitlist entry, or block access to the site, if we reasonably believe these Terms were broken.

7. Our intellectual property

Homefront Stories, our logos, and the site’s text, design, and graphics belong to Thought2Creations LLC or its licensors, and are protected by trademark, copyright, and other laws. You may view the site for your personal, noncommercial use. Please don’t copy, change, or reuse our name, logos, or content without our written permission.

8. No military affiliation

Homefront Stories is an independent product of Thought2Creations LLC and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense (also called the Department of War) or any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Any mention of a military branch on the site only describes the families we hope to serve.

9. AI-assisted storybooks (future product)

We plan to offer personalized storybooks created with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, with stories and illustrations shaped by our own writing and review. The product isn’t available yet, and its features, content, quality, pricing, and timing may change or may never be offered. Before you can order a storybook, we’ll publish separate terms and a separate privacy notice. Those will cover what a parent or guardian provides, any parental consent the law requires, and what rights you’ll have in your book.

10. Site provided “as is”

To the fullest extent North Carolina and other applicable law allow, the site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the site will always be available, secure, or without errors.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent North Carolina and other applicable law allow:

  • Thought2Creations LLC and its members, managers, and contractors won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from the site, the waitlist, or these Terms.
  • Our total liability for any claim relating to the site, the waitlist, or these Terms is limited to $100.

These limits don’t apply where the law doesn’t allow them. That includes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, and any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived, such as N.C. G.S. Chapter 75.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and by applicable U.S. federal law. Any lawsuit about the site, the waitlist, or these Terms must be brought in the state or federal courts with jurisdiction over Onslow County, North Carolina, and you and we agree to those courts’ personal jurisdiction. This doesn’t limit any right you have under the law of your state of residence that can’t be waived. Before filing a claim, please email contact@thought2creations.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

13. General

  • If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest stays in effect.
  • If we don’t enforce a part right away, we haven’t waived it.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a merger or sale of the business.
  • These Terms, the Founding Families terms, and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new version number and effective date. Changes apply from that date going forward, not to anything that happened before. If we make a material change that affects the Founding Families offer for people who already joined, the offer terms control (see “Changes before launch” in those terms).
